Ode to Cat Ladies
It can happen to the best of us. The cat distribution system clicks into gear and your number comes up. You end up with a cute pet furball. And it turns out they’re collectable , so pretty soon another one finds its way to you.
At first you ask yourself, “am I on my way to being an old cat lady?” and this seems like a terrible thought. Then after a while, when you’re curled up in your favorite chair and the cats are purring in your lap, you think, “Would it be so horrible if I do?”
The painting is acrylic on paper an measures 11” x 15”. A UV protective sealant has been used on it, but it’s best to keep paintings out of direct sunlight, since many pigments in paint — even the best paints— are susceptible to fading in sunlight.
